Kanata Nordic Fall Fun Run

Join the Kanata Nordic Ski Club on Sunday, October 20th on run through beautiful trails at the Wesley Clover Park Campground!

ROUTES – 2.5km and/or 5km marked trails
COST – FREE for Kanata Nordic Members and special guests
WHY – A great opportunity to get active at a fun, family-oriented event for all ages! There will be food, refreshments from Kichesippi Brewery, sponsor tables, games, a biathlon demonstration, marshmallow roasting and more! Participants are encouraged to dress in their favourite Halloween costume.

RBC Race for The Kids Ottawa

CHEO’s RBC Race for the Kids is transforming pediatric healthcare.

On October 6, 2024, you can lace up your shoes to run or walk a distance of your choosing! Options include a 5K and 10K all-terrain timed run or the fully accessible 2K Family Fun Run.

All of the closed courses make their way through beautiful Wesley Clover Parks – an innovative, four-season outdoor recreation and learning hub located in the National Capital Greenbelt that encircles the City of Ottawa.

All funds raised will support the largest redevelopment campaign in CHEO’s 50-year history.

PTSD workshop (post-traumatic stress)

Horses have been increasingly recognized for their therapeutic benefits in helping individuals cope with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). TREK Twilight MTB Race Series powered by Bushtukah: Stage 3

The Trek Twilight Race Series powered by Bushtukah is a 4 race event hosted by Bakkers Trailblazers. This series will feature a unique 4.6 km lap course, with safe and well marked trails, held at the beautiful Wesley Clover Parks, in the west end of the city of Ottawa. 

The intent of the series is to encourage mountain biking participation in the Ottawa area. It offers 3 different courses ranging in difficulty from novice to advanced. As much as there will be timed results, Bakker's Trailblazers is primarily  seeking rider skill and fitness development throughout the summer.

Bakkers Traiblazers Mountain Bike Festival

Bakkers Trailblazers’ goal is to provide a safe, inviting community event to encourage participation in the sport of mountain biking. They welcome and encourage new riders to come out and give mountain biking a try. See you on the trails!
