Available Positions:

Event Assistant – Seasonal Full Time 

Wesley Clover Parks is looking for a seasonal Event Assistant to join our team from May until end of August/early September. This position requires a minimum 30 hour/week commitment including evening and weekend availability during live events. As a Canada Summer Job position, the successful candidate must be between 15-30, work 30+ hours/week, and be eligible to work in Canada. The candidate will help our events team with a range of tasks, including but not limited to: filling out various City and Wesley Clover Parks event planning forms/applications, creating and maintaining various tracking documents, coordinating vendors, preparing the site for spectators, and assisting with event set-up, live events, and tear down operations that come with any event. The ideal candidate will work well in a fast paced environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Horse show experience is an asset, but is not required.

Property Maintenance, Wesley Clover Parks & Wesley Clover Parks Campground – Seasonal Full Time 

Wesley Clover Parks is looking to fill seasonal full-time maintenance positions. The ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, can lift up to 50 lbs, and have a driver’s license. Tractor and equipment experience are considered an asset. Must be available to work weekends and evenings on occasion.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Basic landscaping, tree and branch trimming, raking and cleanup of grass clippings as required. Will be required to use a push mower and string trimmer.
  • Collect waste from around the property. Empty and re-bag waste bins in publics areas and offices.
  • Assist with delivery of hay to paddocks.
  • Filling water troughs.
  • Manual labour and maintenance tasks.
  • Basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on equipments.

Campground Office Assistant, Wesley Clover Parks Campground – Seasonal Full and Part Time Available

Wesley Clover Parks is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our campground office team!

As the first point of contact with for guests, successfull candidates will have strong customer service skills. The ability to speak, read and write professionally in both official languages is a strong asset. Shift times will include days, evenings, and weekends. The Wesley Clover Parks Campground is open from late April to early October, there is a possibility of working into the academic year.

The Wesley Clover Parks Campground is located at 411 Corkstown Road, a 15-minute walk to the nearest bus stop (Moodie at the 417). Access to a vehicle is an asset.

Candidates will need to have the following qualities/skills:

  • Bilingual language abilities (French and English) are considered a strong asset
  • Customer service skills
  • Daytime and weekend availability
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
  • The ability to start as soon as the season begins!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet and interact with visitors in a professional manner
  • Assist with creating reservations and checking in/out guests
  • Answer phone calls and emails

  • Assist with maintaining the general cleanliness and sanitization of the office and the campground as a whole
