Campground Assistant, Wesley Clover Parks Campground 

  • Term: Seasonal
  • Position Type: Full Time preferred, Part Time opportunities may be available

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our campground team!

You will be face of our campground, and will need to have strong customer service skills and the ability to speak, read and write professionally in both official languages. Shift times will include days and weekends, no evenings! Our campground is open from April to October, so there is a possibility of working into the academic year.

Our campground is located at 411 Corkstown Road, and is a 15-minute walk to the nearest bus stop (Moodie @ the 417), so access to a vehicle is an asset!

Candidates will need to have the following qualities/skills:

  1. Bilingual language abilities (French and English)
  2. Customer service skills
  3. Daytime and weekend availability
  4. Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
  5. The ability to start as soon as the season begins!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet and interact with clients in a professional manner.
  • Assist campground clients with creating reservations and checking in/out.
  • General administrative tasks.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, and properly manage the WCPC general email inbox and voicemail.
  • Direct any inquiries to the proper department or contact.
  • Assist with maintaining the general cleanliness and sanitization of the office, as well as the campground as a whole (including washrooms) as needed.
  • Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed.
  • Other tasks as required.

Instructor, Ian Millar School of Horsemanship & WCP Equestrian – Part Time 

Wesley Clover Parks is seeking a part-time Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching in the hunter and jumper disciplines and is comfortable with Novice and Intermediate level students. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are Equestrian Canada Instructor of Beginners, have their Competition Coach Certification and are bilingual (English/French). Evening availability is required, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be mature, reliable, responsible, respectful, and will be able to work in a structured team environment. Property Maintenance, Wesley Clover Parks & Wesley Clover Parks Campground – Seasonal Full Time 

Our team is growing! Wesley Clover Parks is looking to fill seasonal full-time maintenance positions. The ideal candidates will be mechanically inclined, can lift up to 50 lbs, and have a driver’s license. Tractor and equipment experience are considered an asset. Must be available to work weekends and evenings on occasion.

While Wesley Clover Parks is not currently seeking grooms positions, we are always keen on meeting interested applicants for future employment needs. Work with both the Ian Millar School of Horsemanship and WCP Equestrian Team and become a part of the team at Wesley Clover Parks. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside and learn from knowledgeable coworkers and quality horses. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, work well as part of a team, and have previous horse experience.
